The Vanity fair Oscar Party was a grand affair with the creme de la creme of fashion, entertainment, politics and sports celebrating the culmination of The 88th Academy Awards 2016.
Amidst the merry-making and partying, we just found that Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was missing from the event.
If the reports are to be believed, HollywoodLife has decoded the mystery. An insider told the celebrity website that Kardashian didn't want husband Kanye West to be the centre of attraction for his previous twitter rants.
The report said: "Ye's been making headlines for the past weeks for his tweets and feuds and while she's 100-percent on his side, she didn't want to be asked any questions about his feuds or worse – she didn't want anyone to piss off Kanye and set him off. She didn't want all the drama that night. She wasn't in a good mood and she's still hasn't gotten her perfect body back. As much as she and Kanye love being the center of attention, she decided to let the other girls have the spotlight that evening."
While Kim didn't attend the star-studded event, she surely has got some favourite looks from the red carpet. In one of her posts on her blog and app, Kim told fans that Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lawrence and Rooney Mara were amongst the best dressed on the red carpet for her.
"I love watching the Oscars! The fashion is so good and I love the glamour. Here are my three favorite gowns from last night", she shared.
From the Kardashian clan, mom Kris Jenner was very much present at the Oscar 2016. This year, Kris represented E! as their correspondent on the red carpet outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Here is a picture which she shared on her instagram.
