South Korean pop ballad singer Baek Ji Young has dished out details of her married life. The 40-year-old singer, who married actor Jung Suk Won in 2013, says that her husband is very affectionate and pampers her a lot.
During the recent telecast of SBS power FM's Kim Chang Ryul's Old School, she was asked about Suk Won's flattering remarks she hears the most. Ji young relayed: "I'd rather hear 'I love you.' Beauty is pointless when you get old. Or maybe it's because I hear 'You're pretty' often. I think everything is included in 'I love you.' Jung Suk Won expresses his love often. People think he'd be aloof, but he's very affectionate."
The After a Long Time hitmaker, who came back to Korean entertainment scene in 2006, is now a known face of Dr Syul cosmetic brand. As per reports, Ji Young has landed an exclusive endorsement deal with the natural stem cell brand, and is set to start the promotions soon.
Meanwhile, during her appearance at the FM show, the singer also expressed her likeness towards the main rapper of the South Korean boy band 2PM, Taecyeon. Allkpop quoted her saying: "I received this song from Bang Shi Hyuk. At the time, I really wanted to sing an uptempo song. After 'I Won't Love,' I didn't receive any uptempo songs [from producers]. So I visited Bang Shi Hyuk and requested him to write an upbeat song," referring mystery story behind My Ear's Candy."
Ji Young further stated: "I heard two other songs at the time but I don't even remember the other songs because I liked this one so much. I also expressed my wish to work with Taecyeon after listening to 10 Out of 10."
Adding on, when asked about her intention on choosing 2PM's Taecyeon, Ji Young astonishingly replied: "What do you mean 'ulterior motives'? He is twelve years younger than I am!"
