Suzy Bae is giving away her first ever self composed song. The newest song written by the 21 year old singer will reportedly be played as a special OST for her current KBS2 drama, Uncontrollably Fond.
The girlfriend of Lee Min-ho apparently became songwriter for the track on request of the director. Dishing out details on Suzy's debut as the lyricist, a representative of JYP Entertainment stated: "She finished recording in May before the airing of the drama. Suzy was delighted to participate after the director asked that she write an OST portraying No Eul's character." The songstress also gave her voice to the drama's introductory OST, Ring My Bell, which has received an overwhelming response since its release.
Continuing further, the staffer also gave some information on the release date of the track. He told Allkpop: "The song Good Day, written, composed, and sung by Suzy, will be played during the last few episodes of KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Uncontrollably Fond'. The official release is scheduled for the end of August."
Meanwhile, the romantic comedy drama, starring Suzy Bae and Kim Woo Bin is doing quite well on the rating chart. The 8th episode of the drama, which went air on 28 July, recorded an incredible viewership of 10.1% in Seoul national area, while nationwide it garnered 8.9% rating, as per Nielson. The KBS2 drama consists of 20 episodes, with the last one to air in September.
