Song Joong Ki, singer Kim Jong Kook and Asia's prince, Lee Kwang Soo have been best friends for a long time. The trio is known for boasting their unconditional bromance and indubitable support for each other.
The Descendants of the Sun star held his Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Shanghai on 13 July, and Kook attended the event as a special guest. Although the duo missed Kwang Soo, they seemed to enjoy each other's presence.
While Joong Ki entertained his fans with his incredible acting skills, the former turbo member performed one of his hit song, One Man for the fans. After the event, Kook posted a picture of him with the 30-year-old actor and expressed his happiness over Joong Ki's huge fan following. He said: "I'm really happy that this guy is doing well. He's a good guy. Loyal. I hope that he and Lee Kwangsoo do even better in the future. My dongsaengs."
Song Hye Kyo's rumored boyfriend was very affectionate towards Kook and did not forget to express his gratitude for the singer. The actor previously revealed that he owe his Descendants of the Sun's body and looks to the multi-talented personality.
"I got a lot of help from Jong Kook-hyung when I was preparing for my drama. When I got the role in 'Descendants of the Sun,' he taught me all the exercises [I needed to know]. I'm very thankful to him," he said.
