South Korean singer Gummy has opened up about her meeting with Song Joong Ki. The 35-year-old singer, whose real name is Park Ji Yeon, revealed Joong Ki's sweet side.
During an appearance on SBS's Cultwo Show, Gummy talked about her rendezvous with the Descendants of the Sun actor. She said: "I've been singing a lot of drama OSTs lately. I sang one for 'Descendants of the Sun.' I went to the drama concert, and Song Joong Ki came and gave me a handbag."
Gummy said: "It's the first time I had a long conversation with Song Joong Ki. He was very kind and considerate."
Previously, Song Hye Kyo had praised Joong Ki at Chengdu fan meet. In the hit drama, Joong Ki played the lead role as Captain Yoo Shi Jin, and Hye Kyo reprised the role of doctor named Kang Mo-Yeon.
During the interaction session, the 34-year-old actress gushed about Joong Ki. She said: "I had a sense of Song Joong Ki's popularity through the internet and news articles, but actually coming here and seeing this for myself makes me feel happier and more nervous than him."
"I was looking forward to meeting him since so many people told me good things about him, and it turned out that he was an even better person than I'd thought. He's very sincere and thoughtful when filming. I think he's really cool," she added.
