Tom Hiddleston has asked American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift to not give much attention to her haters. The Bad Blood singer reportedly feels humiliated when her past relationships become the target of jokes.
A source told Britain's Reveal magazine: "He's been pushing her to just ignore all the haters and hit the town with him. Tom's been incredibly supportive. When this backlash started, she was worried he'd cut and run, but it's been the opposite."
The insider added: "He's done wonders to cheer Taylor up, when this is exactly the sort of thing that would normally really upset her. He even made a joke about how they're moving too fast, and he mock-proposed to her with one of those plastic kiddie rings you get from a bubblegum machine. She thought it was hilarious."
During an interview with Glamour UK magazine, the 25-year-old Shake It Off singer admitted that she does not find it easy having a boyfriend. She said: "There is no easy way for me to engage with romance. I'm really busy, so I can't. And it's a good thing that I feel really independent and I feel that my friends are all I need."
"It's kind of a sad way I got there, though, being shamed into it. What else is it when you have two boyfriends in one year and everyone's calling you boy crazy, making jokes about you at awards shows? That's public humiliation. And I don't think its fair," the Red hitmaker added.
