Tumblr has revealed the most popular K-pop groups and individual members on the microblogging site for the year 2017.
"We did it. We made it through! 12 months. 52 weeks. 365 days. 8,760 hours. 2017 is almost over. Let's celebrate the stuff that made you happy. Here's a toast to your favorite things on Tumblr," the site's Year in Review read.
It added, "We looked over thousands of lines of data, scouring each and every popular tag in each and every popular category. We sorted this data with our very own Fandometrics rating technique, the pleasingly scientific system that measures searches, original posts, reblogs, and likes to rank your enthusiasm and love."
According to Beatrice Vantapool, Tumblr's Content Insights Associate, "K-pop's doing better than ever, especially this year, on Tumblr. "I think that [the list] is very indicative of what the year has been like in K-pop, in terms of comebacks and who people are loving the most."
BTS topped the list of the most popular K-pop groups on Tumblr while the boy band members grabbed the first seven spots in the individual ranking.
