There is good news for Kang Daniel's fans. The singer is recovering and will greet his fans again, on December 7. However, he is still weak and taking rest.
As noted by website Soompi, on December 7, a source from Wanna One's agency, YMC Entertainment gave an update on Kang Daniel's health condition. "His condition has improved since yesterday, but as he has not recovered entirely, he is resting," the source said.
Earlier, Allkpop had quoted YMC Entertainment stating about Kang Daniel, "He currently has no official outside schedules. We were preparing for the fanmeeting and performances, but as his health is the top priority, he will be resting fully before rejoining practice."
However, Soompi notes that Kang Daniel will greet his fans briefly on December 7 before the Samsung Music concert begins on that day. Wanna One will be appearing in the concert. Kang Daniel had, despite his illness, greeted his fans in a similar fashion on December 6, at a fan signing event of the band.
"We suggested to Kang Daniel that he should just rest, but he ultimately decided to drop by and greet his fans who have come a long way for this event," YMC had revealed on December 6. They had added, "Despite his dizziness, he really wanted to see his fans. After dropping by the event, he will be going back [to the dorms] to rest."
Following his short fan meet on December 7, Kang Daniel will be taking lots of rest. He wants to recover as fast as possible so that he can take part in all activities of Wanna One, especially the practise sessions and fan meetings. Wanna One is scheduled to attend the annual end-of-the-year music programme, SBS Gayo Daejun.
On December 5, Kang Daniel reportedly had high fever alongwith accompanied dizziness. He has been checking into the hospital to get health checkups and tests done. "We will be making sure that Kang Daniel gets as much rest as possible so that he has a full recover before any upcoming performances.
"He has received the necessary medical treatment and is currently resting in the dorms. Luckily, he has no scheduled broadcasted appearances in the immediate future," a YMC Entertainment representative had said on December 6.
