DIA's Jung Chae Yeon and Ki Heui Hyun have put their best foot forward to support a thoughtful cause for the society. As per reports, the girl group members are working towards investing their money to initiate female hygiene among low income group females.
The singers agency, MBK Entertainment, revealed that the duo made a donation of around 60 million KRW (approximately $51,000) worth of female hygiene products to Good Neighbors for underprivileged youth.
Reportedly, the two young DIA members went weak at the knees after eyeing a recent report related to poor hygiene among low income groups, where female students are still struggling to get their hands on pads or tampons, and use tissues instead.
Commenting on their heartfelt cause for the society, the girls told OSEN: "We're not earning this income just because we're good. It's because of everyone's support that we're able to strike advertisement deals and earn from our music, so we don't think it's just ours to keep."
"While we were thinking about how to make good use of our earnings, we discovered this unfortunate issue for young women, and so we decided to donate to this good case," quoted Soompi.
Chae Yeon and Heui Hyun donated the money that they earned from CFs after appearing on music reality show, Produce 101.
