I.O.I's Kim Sejeong and Jung Chaeyeon have opened up about their beloved parents. The members of South Korean girl group revealed how much their parents supported them during their hard times.
During an episode of Welcome Show, the singers read out loud the letters they wrote, thinking of their parents. Sejeong mentioned: "I am learning many things these days because I am doing a lot of things for the first time. While thinking of how to do this, I thought about my mom's diary. I am writing an entry one by one these days, too. I am optimistic and I am able to be doing what I want to be doing thanks to my mom. We're not on the same path since I am just starting out, but I am waiting for that day when we will be walking down the path of success together."
Chaeyeon wrote in her letter: "I am Chaeyeon, the daughter that my mom always misses and worries about. When I first said I wanted to do this job, my mom didn't oppose much and gave me a chance. It is because of her that I was able to pull through hardships and come all this way. Even when I can't visit my mom and dad because of my busy schedule, they would come find me instead and leave me a text message saying, 'I watched you well, daughter. Good job.' I will work hard to show you that I can do better. I love you."
