Zayn Malik reportedly wants to reconcile with former fiancee, Perrie Edwards. The former One Direction star had called off his engagement with the Little Mix singer in 2015.
A source told Britain's Reveal magazine: "Zayn has made it his priority this summer to re-establish a close friendship with Perrie. He's on a mission to be part of Perrie's life again, and the two are already back in touch with each other."
The insider added: "Zayn is freaking out. Especially as she has been linked to Dougie. He know he has no right to stand in the way of Perrie starting a new relationship, as it was him who ended it, but he does get really emotional and jealous when he see Perrie with other guys."
Malik and Edwards started dating in December 2011 after meeting on the sets of The X Factor. The couple who got engaged in August 2013, were reportedly planning to get married at Disneyland Paris in June 2015.
Meanwhile, during an interview with The Mirror, Edwards revealed she is doing great post-split. She said: "I'm having an absolute blast. We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs... I love it. I love going out. I'm feeling brilliant and I'm in a good place – and I've got new hair."
"I'd love to do a double date at Disneyland. That would be brilliant," she added.
