CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa is all set to enlist in the military next year as he will be turning 30. The actor-musician, who is currently starring in the JTBC's rom-com 'The Package,' has revealed that he will be enlisting in the military soon.
When quipped about whether he would be enlisting in the army alongside other CNBLUE member, the actor said, "There's no plan to go together with other members because it's their personal choice to decide on the enlistment date."
Recently, CNBLUE made their comeback with their seventh mini-album '7ºCN'—peaking at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and selling over 47,000 copies since its release. In addition, they also released their sixth Japanese studio album, 'Stay Gold,' in October that debuted at number three on Japan's national weekly Oricon Albums Chart.
The band is all set to embark the CNBLUE 2017 Arena Tour Live "Starting Over" from November to December in Osaka, Tokyo, Fukui, Fukuoka, Aichi, and Kanagawa. However, in an article published on tvReport, he said that he is in a situation where the enlistment can no longer be delayed.
Yonghwa's current drama 'The Package' is a heartwarming tale of a group of people who goes to Paris on a guided package tour. Guiding the group is Lee Yeon Hee while Yonghwa plays the role of a traveller who was recently dumped by his girlfriend. The drama is aired every Fridays and Saturdays at 20:30 (KST).
