The viewers of tvN's Oh Hae Young Again will get to cherish two more bonus episodes of the record breaking drama series. The announcement to extend the show to 18 episodes came after the show surpassed Cheese in Trap's highest rating in its Monday-Tuesday slot.
A staffer from the show's production team confirmed the news to Soompi. He said: "After beginning to film writer Park Hae Young's carefully planned scripts, there were so many emotions and stories we wanted to show to the viewers. With the combination of Song Hyun Wook's meticulous directing, the actors' passionate performances, and the staff's detailed work, the quantity of footage naturally increased."
He added: "Although we tried to cut out some of the footage because we had planned for sixteen episodes, we've decided to add two more episodes to allow us to show it all on the show."
He further affirmed that the show will continue with its natural pace without any vague fillers in the airspace. He continued: "As we aren't trying to stretch out the story, the show will continue to flow at the same quick speed."
Oh Hae Young Again, starring Eric Mun, Seo Hyun Jin, and Jeon Hye Bin, airs every Monday-Tuesday on tvN at 23:00 KST.
