American actor and filmmaker Vin Diesel paid tribute to friend, late actor Paul Walker as the latest installment of their hit Fast and the Furious franchise, started filming. In an emotional Instagram post, the 48-year-old actor shared his thoughts on filming Fast 8 without Walker.
Diesel shared a throwback image of himself along with Walker on the photo-sharing website. He wrote: "Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help us make something special. One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent... And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud.#wemakethemwithourhearts"
Walker died on 30 November 2013, while returning from a charity event when a Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas spun out of control and smashed into a tree before bursting into flames.
Meanwhile, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood will be seen in the film directed by F. Gary Gray. It will hit theatres on 14 April 2017.
