South Korean actor Song Joong-ki, the star of the hit KBS series "Descendants of the Sun," is currently one of the most desirable models in the television industry. He has been seen in a number of commercials and all of them have been highly appreciated by the viewers.
He has been recently appointed as the ambassador by the Korea Tourism Organization, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The heartthrob will be seen in a series of commercials to promote tourism in Korea.
The cute and charismatic actor is also the new face of of budget carrier Jeju Air. Song Joong-Ki has already signed an endorsement deal with Jeju Air. The list doesn't end here. Joong-ki has signed some more endorsements including Maxim Tea, Domino's Pizza and many more. He was also seen at the opening of a food center for the promotion of Korean food in Seoul.
In an interview with The Chosunilbo, an advertising company staff said: "Thanks to the huge success of his recent TV series 'Descendants of the Sun,' Song, who already has a wide spectrum of fans, has grown even more popular. There is intense competition among advertisers to secure endorsement deals with him."
"Most importantly, all of the products Song advertises have seen an increase in sales, without exception," said a staffer at another company.
The actor is currently taking a break from his acting while preparing to work on his next project titled "Detective Hong Gil-dong".
However, endorsements keep him busy.
