American professional wrestler/rapper John Cena has again become a victim of celebrity death hoax. The WWE star has become a target multiple times in the last few years, and this time it's over a hoax that says he died in a car crash.
Rumours started doing rounds after a website titled TMZ News Online - an outlet that is not affiliated with TMZ, claimed that Cena was killed in a car accident. The bogus report read: "John Cena died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident."
"Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that John Cena lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly. The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident," the website added.
However, the 40-year-old old is alive and well, and Cena was seen paying tribute to the Joe Louis Arena during the live event at the venue. Below is video footage of Cena saying goodbye to the arena.

Meanwhile, Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman personally came forward to clear rumours and mocked fake stories suggesting he had died and assured fans that he was alive and well.
