A fresh batch of new leaked details and images has revealed the design, specifications and price of the upcoming Nokia flagship smartphone Nokia 8. The latest images were leaked on CNMO and they show a smartphone, which to some extent follows Nokia's traditional design.

The smartphone looks quite angular with a lot of flat surfaces, however, it does sport the current flagship style of Nokia the curved and round edges and the almost bezel-less display. The leak also showed that we are looking at a 3.5 mm audio jack, which Nokia is not ready to lose yet.

The source of the leak also provided some specification details along with the images. It says that the Nokia 8 will feature a 6-inch display with a 2K resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 128GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM.

According to the leaks, the price of this Nokia flagship device is going to be 3188 Chinese Yuan, which is around $469 or £361. However, it's highly doubtful if the price will actually be so cheap in the Western markets.

As per Know Your Mobile, the Nokia 8 will be officially unveiled on July 31 with a price tag of €589. As per the publication, this piece of information comes via a German site called winfuture.de, which further cited a Scandinavian retailer, who is not named, as a source. The same report also claims that Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 are the same device, clearing the confusion regarding whether there were two high-end phones or two proposed names for the same handset. Now it appears to be the latter, although you should be ready to get some surprises in this regard when the device actually gets revealed.

It should also be noted that this upcoming flagship model of Nokia is going to compete head-to-head with Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 and Samsung's existing Galaxy S8 and incoming Galaxy Note 8.
