Korean-American Lee Soo Jung has been officially named the season five winner of K-pop Star. The South Korean reality TV competition series finale was held on 10 April.
Soo Jung competed against Ahn Ye Eun in the the SBS talent show. She impressed the judges with Kim Kwang Jin's song Letter followed by Stick-Er in the second round.
Meanwhile, Ye Eun sang a self-composed song titled Say Something, followed by Stevie Wonder's Part Time Lover in the second round.
Soo Jung's mind blowing performance secured 100 points each from the three judges, Park Jin Young (JYP), Yang Hyun Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol. She revealed she is joining Hee Yeol's agency Antenna. She said: "I enjoyed it a lot when I worked with Yoo, so I decided to go with him. Yoo already understood my strengths and weaknesses, so please keep having an interest in me."
