British actress/television personality Gemma Atkinson has revealed details about her first date with Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo. The 31-year-old footballer and the Hollyoaks star briefly dated back in 2007.
During an interview with Manchester radio station Key 103, the 31-year-old model dished about her first romantic encounter with the former Manchester United star. She said: "It was really, really glamorous. We just went to my house and drank cups of tea and watched Only Fools And Horses. Genuinely."
"I don't know if he's into it now, but it was on the telly. Only Fools And Horses and cups of tea, he seemed to enjoy it then but I'm going back about six or seven years," she added.
After Atkinson split with Ronaldo, she was engaged to former football striker Marcus Bent. She is currently in a relationship with rugby player and personal trainer Olly Foster.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo was in a long term relationship with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. The two parted ways in January 2015.
Ronaldo, who is single at the moment, told Jonathan Ross that he has several women in his life. During the interview he claimed he is dating a "few" women at the moment in order to "figure out who is better."
"Well it's not easy, of course not. To speak serious, it's not easy," he said. "I know 50 per cent they approach just for interest, it's normal, not just me but all the people who are famous they have these kinds of problems. But in another way, I think I'm a confident guy, I'm tall, I have [my] own teeth, I have a nice body so I think the other 50 per cent it's because..."
