The creator of Pokemon Go, Niantic, has announced the upcoming big game event, the Adventure Week, which will be active from 9 pm UK time on May 18 until 9 pm UK time on May 25. During this time span, gamers will be able to receive more items from Pokestops, as well as more Candy from Buddy Pokemon, reported Daily Express.

There are a total of 17 Pokemon that will have an increased spawn rate during the new Pokemon Go update.

The Adventure week will mostly focus on the Rock-type Pokemon, which means rare Rock Type spawns will appear in the game during the event period. It's going to be a party for the fans who missed out on Omanytes, Aerodactyl, Kabutos, and their Evolutions.

"Pokemon Go was developed for people to easily experience classic Pokémon gameplay on their mobile device and catch Pokémon in the real world," explains Niantic. "As a result, every day, people around the globe go outside, explore the world around them, make some new memories, and get some exercise along the way. We'd love to honor the memories created so far, and our collective journey yet to come, with the Pokémon GO Adventure Week celebration from 1:00 P.M. PDT on May 18 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on May 25, 2017."

As per the Pokemon Go Hub, here is the list of the increased rare spawns during the Rock event: Aerodactyl, Onix, Sudowoodo, Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte and Omastar.
