Japan has introduced a unique sleep café for all those sleep-lovers out there to have a peaceful nap for a maximum of two hours. And, just to help you drift to dreamland, the staff will also serve you a free cup of decaffeinated coffee.
The café is a special collaboration between Nescafe and FranceBed, to mark World Sleep Day which fell on March 17. It allows its customers to rest comfortably in a bed, worth a whopping $12,000, with just a purchase of one food item from the cafe's regular menu. Each bed is equipped with a smartphone controlled light and an audio set to help you to get into deep slumber, regardless of the time you visit the cafe.
Theme cafes or pop-up cafes are quite common in Japan and comes in all shapes and sizes. But, this café, located at Tokyo's prominent fashion street, Harajuku, the sleep café is a perfect stop for sleep-lovers to drop by and recharge their batteries after a tiresome shopping experience.
