A photo of an elderly man sitting calmly and reading newspaper at a flooded Starbucks cafe has taken the internet by storm.
According to BBC, the photo was shared by the Hong Kong news site TV Most on their Facebook page with the caption: "Huh? The newspaper said that it would be raining today! But I forgot to bring my umbrella."
The photograph has since then become immensely popular and received more than 19,000 reactions and has been shared 2,500 times by internet users.
The photograph shows a man sitting and enjoying his drink while reading newspaper at a Starbuck outlet in the Chai Wan district. However, the outlet is completely flooded, but the man does not seem bothered at all by the predicament.
It is reported that the photograph was submitted by medical worker Kristy Chan (23), who told the BBC that she came across this man near the entrance of the mall when she was clicking photos to show her family how bad the floods were after Typhoon Haima pummelled Hong Kong on 20 October.
"It was quite funny. Maybe he already has that many life experiences so the flood didn't bother him at all," said Kristy, as reported by the Straits Times.
"Of course I didn't expect it would go viral," she added saying that there were actually many people seated inside the cafe.
According to BBC, TV Most urged people to comment and come up with creative Photoshop edits of the picture.
