A man was injured on Saturday after crashing his car into the exterior of a lift shaft of a Housing Board block in Marine Parade, Singapore. According to reports, the driver has sustained minor injuries including an abrasion on his right arm.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force was informed about the incident at about 1.25pm at Block 59 Marine Terrace. The injured driver who was in his 60s or 70s was not taken to hospital as he was not willing to.
Reports said that a red Toyota crashed through a gap in a concrete barrier at the open-air carpark leading to the mishap. The police are still investigating the case.
