Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has pushed a new My Files update which is now available for free download via an APK. The update comes with a couple of major fixes and improvements under the hood.

Samsung My Files version 4.1.89.372 brings in a fix on "Predictive text" issue where searches are not working. The Visual Interaction error that occurs when deleting files in "Get More Space – Unused files" has also been solved.

In addition, Samsung has fixed the errors when files are dragged and dropped in multi-window mode. On the Google Drive folder, the number of items now show as they are. Apart from these fixes, Samsung My Files also adds a new update icon when a new version is required.

Interested users can download the Samsung My Files APK version 4.1.89.372 on APK Mirror. Samsung is expected to roll out the official update in a few days.

In the meantime, a do-it-yourself theme engine called themeDIY has recently been released. The new tool allows users to customize themes on their smartphones without rooting it. More than 35 overlays for system applications and 10 for third-party clients are available.

There are also a thousand colour shades and a universal selector for a Light or Dark theme. However, themeDIY is designed exclusively for Samsung phones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later versions. ThemeDIY is available to download from Google Play.
