Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd has finally announced the official arrival of the much awaited device Samsung Galaxy S7 in Malaysia. It will be available in Malaysia from 29 April 2016 at various Samsung stores and in selected Maxis stores.
Ever since the device was launched in the global market, it has been among the top-ranking smartphones because of its flawless combination of performance and quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is available at a retail price of RM 2,699 (inclusive of 6% Goods and Service Tax) and is available in three colour options – Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium.
The phone has received rave reviews for its optimum and 'edgy' design. Apart from the 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, the phone is gifted with some impressive features. The phone has a full 3D glass and metal body which enable the users to have the experience of 3D.
In an interview with The Star, Lee Jui Siang, Samsung Malaysia Electronics vice-president of Mobile and IT Business Unit said: "When we launched the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge back in March, we were very pleased to receive an overwhelming response. Since then, many have asked about its sibling the Galaxy S7 and have expressed purchase intentions; as such, we decided that it was time to bring in the Galaxy S7."
As compared to the Galaxy S7 edge's 5.5-inch display, this phone comes with a slightly smaller screen size of 5.1-inch but still manages to give the feeling of sophistication to its consumers.
