The much-coveted Bixby button might no longer be exclusive to Samsung Electronic Co's high-end smartphones next year. The latest rumour suggests the Galaxy A (2018) will soon be arriving with the Bixby button on board.
The new claim first broke out in China, suggesting that it is the end of the Bixby button being a premium feature for Samsung's smartphones. Earlier this year, the South Korean tech giant first introduced the button with the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. The Galaxy Note 8 was launched in August with it.

Bixby button works by pressing it once to trigger Bixby Home and press holding it to summon smart personal assistant Bixby Voice. With the recent update released by Samsung, the button can be disabled. This comes after a wave of user complaints about automatically launching Bixby Home and Bixby Voice once the button is unintentionally pressed.
For the next-generation Galaxy A series, the Bixby button could be a major selling point. However, it is too early to speculate whether Samsung will deliver Bixby Voice to the premium mid-range devices or just Bixby Home.
In the meantime, previous rumours already claimed the Galaxy A (2018) series will be sporting the Infinity Display. Additionally, one model in the series had been reported rocking a dual-camera setup.
