Although, Samsung's own AI digital assistant Bixby has failed to impress the users so far, but the recent announcement by the company to integrate the AI into their upcoming line of smart refrigerators might just steal the show.

Samsung has announced its vision of new Family Hub 2.0 fridge and the company is gearing up to bring a lot more than just a food-storage with this new product.

Not only Bixby, Samsung plans to increase a bunch of serious smart technologies into this new refrigerator. As reported by Stuff, there is going to be a 21.5 inch LED display on the door of the refrigerator that would allow the users to see what is in there and what is not through internal viewing cameras.

Samsung is also bringing together the smart shopping experience with Groceries by Mastercard app where users will be able to shop foods right from the touchscreen. Speaking of apps, another recipe app powered by AIIRecipes will also be there and recipes from that app can be read out loud or enlarged in order to help the users while multitasking.

Bixby will also be able to tell users the weather, create a shopping list and set timers for them as well. It will even be able to suggest and play music and even adjust recipes based on learned preferences.

The LED touchscreen will work as an interactive board, where all the family members can put notes, reminders, updates and upload pictures too and all these using voice commands.

The Family Hub 2.0 will enable users to control all their smart devices around the home with the help of Bixby. You need anything to do with any of your smart devices at home, go to your fridge.
