Copenhagen fans clash with riot police in final minutes of game against city rivals Brondby

Clashes between FC Copenhagen fans and police disrupted the final minutes of the sides away game against city rivals Brondby on Sunday, August 6.After Brondby scored what proved to be an injury-time winner, a steward was hit by a thrown object, local media said.Riot police then entered the away fans area, and clashes ensued. Police bodycam shows moment man fires at two Las Vegas officers

A body camera caught the moment a suspect fired at two Las Vegas police officers on 1 August. Officer Richard Nelson, 33, was hit by a bullet that made it through a gap in his bulletproof vest, the other officer barely escaped. Man caught towing man in wheelchair receives driving ban

Michael Ward of Walworth Avenue, Harrogate pleaded guilty on 20 July 2017 to dangerous driving on Cheltenham Parade in Harrogate on 28 January 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, fined £85 CPS costs and £85 victims surcharge. At around 12.25am on Saturday 28 January 2017, Ward was seen on CCTV talking to 28-year-old William MacPherson outside of the Moko Lounge Bar, Kings Road in Harrogate. Ward proceeded to drive along Kings Road as MacPherson, who was seated in a wheelchair, held on to the back of the car before they became detached.Ward stopped and reversed back to MacPherson who took hold of the vehicle again. They then continued to travel and come to a stop on two other occasions up Cheltenham Parade and Cheltenham Crescent before turning left onto Oxford Street and coming to a stop outside McDonalds. MacPherson, of Link Way, Harrogate pleaded guilty at the same hearing to holding onto a vehicle for the purpose of being drawn. He was fined £154 and ordered to pay £30 CPS costs and £30 victims surcharge. Aug 7, 2017

Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Jay Y Lee arrived at Seoul District Court on 7 August for closing arguments in his bribery trial. Reports of attack on Venezuelan military fort as armed men call for uprising

A group of military men reportedly launched an uprising in Valencia, Venezuela. A video circulating shows the men in uniform calling to rebel against the government.A man in the video identified as Juan Carlos Caguaripano Scott stated he was the head of the group. He said the group planned civilian and military action to re-establish constitutional order. Witnesses heard gunshots near Paramacay military fort.
