Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid his respects to Thailand's late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, at the Grand Palace in Bangkok on Friday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Singapore leader paid his last tribute to the revered king by laying a wreath at the Royal Urn in the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall. PM Lee also signed the book of condolences, reported the office, according to The Straits Times.
The Prime Minister reached Bangkok on 20 October along with Mrs Lee and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Though PM Lee was scheduled to meet Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha to express his condolences on the passing of the late king, the meeting did not happen due to "last-minute scheduling difficulties".
On the day of the king's death, the Singapore leader took to Twitter to express his condolences to the Royal Family and people of Thailand.

Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej breathed his last on 13 October leaving the hearts of his millions of subjects shattered.
King Bhumibol (88) was suffering from prolonged illness and was put on ventilation. It was also reported that he was being treated for infections, breathing difficulties, heart problems, renal failure and hydrocephalus, a condition in which cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain.
Bhumibol, the world's longest-serving monarch, ascended the throne in 1946 and will be succeeded by his son Maha Vajiralongkorn. Prime Minister Prayuth Chanocha told reporters during a meeting with the press on 18 October that the prince's ascension will begin within the next few weeks.
