Pokemon GO fans can now employ a nifty hack to hatch eggs without actually walking the distance, although the game offers considerable fitness benefits with its objectives requiring players to move out of their couch.
On the contrary, if you are feeling too lazy or tired of hunting for Pokemons then you could put an end to walking extremely long distances just to hatch an egg that might hold the rarest of Pokemons.
Folks at Tech Insider have revealed a nifty trick via YouTube video which clearly demonstrates how you could hatch a Pokemon egg within the confines of your home using a turntable.
Here's how you do it:
- Just launch the game and place your phone on the turntable. Ensure that a bit of the device is still hanging off the table's edge, but not anywhere in contact with the table's tone-arm.
- Set it up with the fastest rotation speed supported (around 78rpm for maximum bonus points).
- As CNET notes, the spinning platter should produce enough movement to trick the phone into thinking that it's actually in motion. The same concept holds true when you tape the phone to a ceiling fan or wedge it into the spokes of a bicycle wheel.
- It could take a while as the phone spins around on the turntable, depending on whether you are trying to hatch a 2k, 5k or 10k egg in the popular augmented-reality game.
However, you can rest assured that it will get the job done and could be handy when you are unable to step outside your house due to bad-weather conditions.
