OnePlus 3 gets OxygenOS 3.2.8
OxygenOS 3.2.8 OTA starts rolling out for OnePlus 3

OnePlus 3 owners are in for some good news as the OnePlus team has just started rolling out the latest version of OxygenOS (v3.2.8) as an over-the-air (OTA) incremental update. The new OTA update aims to fix all known bugs and issues on the native Marshmallow firmware.

As the update is being rolled out in phases, some users might have to wait longer than expected. Nevertheless, interested users may check out the official changelog posted below:

  • Added 1080p 60fps video recording
  • Added emergency calling for India (Triple press of power button to trigger)
  • Optimization of Snapchat, fixed video calling and scrolling lags
  • Increased system stability
  • General bug fixes

The addition of 60fps to the existing 1080p video recording capability happens to be the icing on the cake as it resolves stability issues with video capturing including the Snapchat lag affected some users on OnePlus 3.

Despite the phased rollout, the OxygenOS update is likely to reach all users in the next few days.
