The first and the most striking new piece of gear for the Switch that Nintendo revealed was an dazzling new neon-yellow colour for its Joy-Con controllers. The Neon Yellow Joy-Con, which enters the list of blue, red and grey ones, will be launched on 16 June along with a matching strap. The accessory sells for $79.99 with an additional $7.99 for the strap.

The other gadget announced for the Switch by Mario makers, was a AA battery-powered attachment for Joy-Con controllers to keep them running longer. This gear will also be launched on the same day as Joy-Con controllers at a retail price of $30 per unit. However, the battery powered attachment is quite an oddball considering the Joy-Cons already get charged up when attached to the Switch or locked in the Grip.

Finally, the last bit of announcement from Nintendo includes, a standalone dock for the Switch. For Switch owners with multiple TV sets, an additional dock can make moving your Zelda session to another room a lot easier. All you need to do is just remove the Switch from the first dock, slide it into the spare one attached to the other TV and you could be playing again without skipping anything. This gear comes with a pricey tag of $89.99 with its availability set for 19 May.
