Rockstar Games has recently announced the Criminal Expansion pack for the game which will be active starting 3 June to 6 June in GTA Online. As YouTuber MrBossFTW (aka Ross) notes, there is no better way to ramp up your rankings and make some quick bucks in the game than participating in the event weekend.
A few lucky users might also win some shark cards being sponsored by Ross on his YouTube channel with necessary updates on his Twitter account, during the weekend.
For starters, all the DLC vehicles released after Executive and Other Criminals update such as the Orion Yachts, SuperVolito helicopters, Turreted Limos, Verlierers, Executive Cognoscenti and All Shafter V12s will now be available at 25% discount on their original prices.
GTA Online players can now enjoy double RP via event playlist and no VIP threshold will be imposed for these special events on the weekend. Besides, all VIP services, executive weapons and clothing will be offered at special discounts through the weekend.
In other words, you no longer need $1 million dollars in your in-game bank account to play as a VIP in GTA Online during the weekend special event countdown between 3 June and 6 June.
You could use up all the four hours of your VIP time-slot for any given game day to make maximum money in GTA Online as VIP missions are the most lucrative jobs in the game.
As far as the preparations for the upcoming DLC is concerned, you will need more powerful weapons and armoured vehicles. For the first time in GTA Online, you can move your yacht to a new location for free and that could be part of your strategic move, ahead of the DLC release on 7 June.
