Just last week Samsung launched the most talked about launch of their flagship models Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The premium phone is packed with incredible features and it was said at the launch that the phones will be available from April 21 at the selected markets.
However, the pre orders went live across all major US carriers from the very next day of the launch. Now, the pre-order date for Singapore has also been revealed. The South Korean smartphone maker has announced that the latest premium flagship smartphones of Samsung's Galaxy line up will be available for pre-orders from 7 April (Friday) around the island.
According to Channel News Asia, both the models will be available in three colour variants - Maple Gold, Midnight Black and Orchid Gray, informed Samsung.
Consumers with existing contracts can register for their desired model with their respective telcos from noon on Friday and those who wish to pre-order without the contract can also do so on Samsung's website, Samsung Experience stores around the city and major consumer electronics stores' websites from the same date, the company said.
To pre-order, consumers have to deposit S$50 in advance and book their choice from the available variants at either the Galaxy Studio or any Samsung Experience store. However, the pre-orders will commence a bit late, starting 14 April at the Samsung's Galaxy Studio in Ngee Ann City.
As far as the local telcos are concerned the new smartphones of Samsung will be available there from 29 April along with all the major consumer electronics stores, authorised mobile retailers, Samsung Experience stores and Lazada Singapore, the company added.
