Apple, on Wednesday, surprisingly released the first iOS 11 updates to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices worldwide, just less than two weeks after launching its latest mobile operating system upgrade on September 19. The iOS 11.0.1 update comes with tonnes of bug fixes and minor changes.
The California-based iPhone maker zeroes in on providing security patches and performance enhancements. The first-ever iOS 11 build also makes improvements in battery performance to optimise longevity in usage.

When the iOS 11 arrived, Apple had been bombarded with complaints, especially on the excessive battery drain that the upgrade brings. Those who have not yet upgraded to iOS 11 can take delight in the build as they would not have to experience its lapses.
To update a device over the air, head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.
Users also have the option to install iOS 11.0.1 via iTunes. To download it from scratch, one will need the iOS 11.0.1 IPSW file. Below are the links embedded to their corresponding Apple device models:

The iOS 11 is the greatest upgrade Apple has rolled out so far, especially with its functionalities involving augmented reality. Nevertheless, users who are not ready for iOS 11 can still downgrade to iOS 10.3.3 if they want to.
