Two men died and another was injured in a road accident in Singapore involving three power-assisted bicycles and a trailer on Thursday night.
The accident occurred at the junction of Pandan Crescent along the West Coast Highway. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were informed about the accident just before midnight and they rushed to spot immediately.
SCDF said a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene while another boy, who was 18 years old, succumbed to his injuries after he was taken to the National University Hospital. According to SCDF, a 17-year-old boy who suffered a leg injury is undergoing a treatment.
The police said the investigations are going on. They have arrested the 34-year-old trailer driver for causing death by a negligent act.
