ASUS is finally launching its first smartphone with 18:9 display. The smartphone named Pegasus 4S will go on sale in China this week and it is expected that this gadget will be received well among tech buffs.

Through Pegasus 4S, ASUS tries to create a revolution in the bezel-less phone segment available at a cheap rate. Even though a bezel-less device, the company has priced it moderately as they are targeting the mid-end buyers through this gadget. It will not be a surprise if the company price it below $350. This move would also pose a huge threat to its competitors.

Specifications

The Pegasus 4S cannot be considered as ASUS' flagship product, even though it sports 18:9 display. The 5.7-inch screen will offer a resolution of 720*1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor. The base model of Pegasus 4S will have 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, while its high-end version has 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

There will be two dual cameras in the device with 16MP and 8MP sensors. The front camera is of 8MP, and it is meant to offer a remarkable selfie experience for the users. There will be also a fingerprint sensor on the backside of this device.

However, the major highlight of this device is its sleek design. The bezels are so thin, and as a result, it has emerged as one of the most stylish devices to be launched in 2017. The smartphone is powered by a 4,030 mAh battery, which will offer a great backup experience for the users. Pegasus 4S will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat platform and will offer dual sim support.

As of now, two colour variants will be launched for sale in China; the black and gold. More details regarding the launch date of Pegasus 4S in other countries apart from China will be unveiled in the coming days.
