iPad

Adam took a bite of it. Steve Jobs made a multinational technology behemoth out it. It's something about which all tech nerds out there are always on the extremes. Yes, I am talking about Apple and by the looks of things that are yet to come; this may just be another year that belongs to Apple Inc.

This year marks 10 years of iPhone and already a barrage of rumours had hit the market all speculating, debating, philosophizing about at the impressive features that will come with the 2017 iPhone. And now strong rumour has it Apple is going to launch three new iPad models this year.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo these models will debut in the second quarter of 2017 and the firm will update the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, to bring forward a new design sized 10 to 10.5 inches with a narrow bezel, and will also have 9.7-inch model in the offing on a lower price.

Since Kuo has quite the impressive history in predicting Apple's future product plans and line-up, nobody is brushing this aside as mere speculation but is really considering it as a viable option and what we can expect from the tech giant this year. There has, however, been no official confirmation whatsoever of the claims made.

The larger, high-end iPads will have an A10X chip which is a beefed up version of the A10 chip that is in the iPhone 7 which will be manufactured by manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and the budget friendly one will come with an A9 chip which will be manufactured by Samsung which Kuo also estimates will make up for almost 50 to 60 per cent of the new iPad shipments in 2017..

In the note which Kuo had sent to his investors, which Appleinsider managed to get a copy of also predicts these three new iPads will be instrumental in battling the year-over-year decline of iPad sales from 20 per cent to 10 per cent and "the worst has passed" for the firm. According to Kuo, Apple's iPad mini line will not be refreshed this for this year.
