Asus has just started rolling out its highly-anticipated Android Marshmallow update for the ZenFone Zoom and ZenFone Selfie smartphones in order to keep up with its deadline of upgrading these devices to Marshmallow by Q3 2016.
Following the ZenFone Max and a couple of ZenFone 2 Laser models, the new ZenFone Zoom and ZenFone Selfie variants are now being upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow with build numbers ZX551KL and ZD551KL respectively. Both the Zoom and Selfie smartphones are getting a new firmware upgrade with version number 4.21.40.74 and 21.40.0.1692 wherein a bunch of third-party bloatware is being replaced with just a couple of new apps from Google and Facebook.
