LG G6 has created a lot of buzz in the smartphone market, ahead of its highly-anticipated release at Mobile World Congress this Sunday in Barcelona. While the photography enthusiasts are going gaga over the 13 MP 125-degree dual rear camera of the G6, LG is poised to add another feather in its cap with the highly-rumoured launch of LG X Power 2.
With the biggest tech party of the year drawing closer, the LG X Power 2 will reportedly come with an incredible battery power and will eventually be available in the markets from March this year.
LG has claimed that the combination of the battery and display will make this smartphone the ideal option for power-heavy multimedia user and gaming enthusiasts. Because it is housing an enormous 4,500 mAh battery and so it can be used for an entire weekend without recharging.
According to reports, it is capable of offering 15 hours of continuous video playback without charge, 14 hours with the use of GPS and 18 hours of web browsing.
Apparently, the LG X Power 2 smartphone also has a high-speed charging technology that can charge from zero per cent to 50 per cent within one hour, making it only needing two hours to regain its full battery life.
According to Android Authority, what we know as of now is that the LG X Power 2 would have four casing colour variations; black titan, shiny titan, shiny gold and shiny blue. The smartphone would also sport a feature called 'Comfort View' that reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the display. Essentially, reading an e-book and other content can be a lot more pleasant for its users, because blue light is known to cause eye fatigue and also keeps you awake at night.
As far as the processor is concerned, this device is reported to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and will be packed with an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The smartphone will be offered in two RAM variations: 1.5 GB and 2 GB, both with only 16 GB built in memory. Though 1.5 GB and 2 GB RAM is quite underpowered, not to mention the 16 GB built in memory also, but the good news is the phone is reported to have a microSD card support of up to 2 TB.
Apparently, the LG X Power 2 will have a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front one. In addition, it will also have two new features for the camera; the Auto Shot and the Gesture Shot. In the Auto Shot feature, it automatically snaps a photo when a face is detected and in the Gesture Shot, also it automatically snaps a shot but through hand signal.
Although, the company has kept the pricing part under the wraps, but it will soon be known in just two days, at the MWC.
