A man tried to rob at a sex toy shop in San Bernardino, California, faced the wrath of two of the employees who managed to fight him off with dildos. The incident took place before the shop was wrapping up business for the day.
A surveillance video footage from the shop Lotions & Lace showed the robber dressed up in a hoodie and his face was covered. He was seen whipping out his gun, and even grabbing one of the employees at one point.
They started shouting at the robber and tossed sex toys at him until finally he gave up and turned around before leaving the store.
Amy, one of the two employees of the shop said she was more irritated than frightened, as she was convinced the gun was a fake.
"With the gun, he walked in. I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us. But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don't have time for this," she told ABC 7.
The other employee was equally irritated. He called the man a "coward" trying to take advantage of two women.
The police released the surveillance camera footage of the incident. They also released the images of the suspect with his face exposed hoping that someone recognises him and comes forward with information.
ABC 7 reported that San Bernardino police also recommended people not to confront armed robbers.
