Rockstar Games has finally rolled out the highly-anticipated Halloween DLC for GTA 5 while renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW (aka Ross) has shed some light on the secret and hidden features pertaining to the latest update in GTA Online.
As Ross explains, the Sanctus has some secrets and hidden details that have not been revealed by Rockstar in its recent Newswire announcement pertaining to the release of Halloween DLC.
LCC Sanctus
A couple of unique features found in the skull bike include the exhaust, which emits some black smoke accompanied with a shot of fire while changing gears or accelerating/decelerating the vehicle. This is an exclusive feature seen on the LCC Sanctus and it's not found on any other bike in GTA Online.
The skull lights or the glowing eyes on the Sanctus basically function like headlights. In other words, you can actually destroy the two beaming eyes of the skull by shooting at them.
Tip #1: You could actually enhance the menacing looks of the bike after you have shot down the headlights on the bike. The headlights will turn black after you have smoked them out with your shotgun.
Another key aspect is that it is not yet known if the Halloween-themed Sanctus bike has a usable-time window or an expiry date in the game. Although it is still unclear if the Sanctus bike could be stored even after the Halloween week has ended, the fact that the skull bike is featured along with the Bikers DLC brings us some hope that it could be added permanently into the game.
Rockstar's recent news post indicates that there are only two dates left, which could suggest the expiry of the Sanctus bike only if it ends up being a time-locked or time-sensitive vehicle. The first expiry date falls on 7 November when the GTA Anniversary special sales will end and the other date falls on 15 November when the old Halloween content will disappear from the game including the Lurcher Hearse and Franken Stange.
Lost Vs Damned Adversary mode
The Lost Vs Damned Adversary mode will offer you double RP and double GTA$ until 7 November and the Halloween-style weather system will not be available in free-roam events as it remains locked to the new Adversary mode in GTA Online.
Unlockable T-Shirts
You can unlock two new T-Shirts just by logging into the game during the Halloween event week between 26 October and 7 November. The 'Twilight Knife' and 'Butchery and Other Hobbies' can be unlocked for free during the Halloween period.
The third T-shirt Cheerleader Massacre will be added to your inventory collection when you buy the Halloween-themed Sanctus bike before 7 November in GTA Online.
Double GTA$ and Double RP Bonus
Only on the Halloween's Day or 31 October, Rockstar will be featuring double GTA$ and RP jobs with Slasher, Beast Vs Slasher and Come Out to Play modes in GTA Online.
Lurcher Hearse and Franken Stange
If you buy either Lurcher Hearse or Franken Stange before 15 November, the purchased vehicle from the previous Halloween update will be stored in your inventory permanently.
Tip #2: The face paints and masks are also saved in your inventory, once you buy them from the Vespucci shop in GTA Online. The masks will be yours to keep forever after the purchase, but the face paints need to be bought again whenever you change your masks, costumes or outfits.
Tip #3: Special Halloween themed bobbleheads and horns will be disappearing after 15 November and hence it is imperative to buy them during the Halloween week.
