Pokemon GO, the new augmented-reality game from Niantic Labs, is finally making its way into Europe starting with its launch in Germany on 13 July. Effectively, Germany is the fourth country after US, Australia and New Zealand to receive Nintendo's phenomenal game on the official iOS App Store.
Pokemon GO enables gamers to enjoy the game set pieces in the real world as it runs using your phone's camera, sensors and location information based on real-world maps.
As the rest of the world eagerly awaits the release of Pokemon GO, some Reddit users have posted a thread titled 'Pokemon GO Release Status - Asia' detailing the availability of the game across various countries and cities in the continent.
Meanwhile, the moderators of the thread have promised to update the status on an hourly basis based on the feedback received from the Pokemon community of users in Asia.
In addition, Pokemon fans can also check out the availability status for Pokemon GO in various countries across the globe using this website, which updates the status in real-time (after every few minutes).
An avid Pokemon fan has also shared the details of the game availability in China through an instant chat message. Basically, it includes the list of those countries in Asia where the game will not be available: People's Republic of China (Mainland China), Korea (Republic of Korea, South Korea), Taiwan (Republic of China, Taiwan), Cuba, Iran, Myanmar and Sudan.
Update #4: Pokemon GO is now officially live on game servers in Canada. However, there is still no word on the game's availability in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, India and other Asian countries.
