Apple has just rolled out the Public Beta releases for both iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, following the recent beta 2 rollout of both the operating systems to developers. Members of Apple's Beta Software Program are eligible to download the Public Beta iterations of Apple's latest software for mobile phones and desktop computers.
iOS 10 brings a whole new level of changes including new Spotlight widgets, enhanced notifications and revamped Messages app. As with any beta updates, the Public Beta iterations of iOS 10 and macOS Sierra could harbour untested bugs or broken features.
Consequently, it is not advisable to install either of these beta updates on your primary devices as the test software is likely to be affected with performance issues, poor battery performance and potential overall-system instability.
Interested users can follow the step-by-step guide provided below. Before you proceed, just ensure that your device is listed under the compatibility list given below for iOS 10 Public Beta.
