Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has urged manager Arsene Wenger to replicate the Gunners' form against Chelsea, when they face Manchester City at the Etihad on 5 November, Sunday.
The north London club's last visit at the Stamford Bridge ended a in a goalless draw. A solid defensive organisation frustrated the Premier League winners as Antonio Conte struggled to break Arsenal at home.
Wenger's side did have chances to walk with three points, but they failed to capitalise. The tie ended in a goalless draw at the Bridge.
Campbell, who played for the Gunners between 1988 and 1995, believes the course of the match will be decided in "City's last third and Arsenal's defence." He has also advised the Frenchman to replicate the same form against Chelsea when he takes his men to the Etihad to face Pep Guardiola's side.
"I think City have got the advantage, probably the most important areas are going to be Manchester City's last third and Arsenal's defence. Who wins that battle will determine who's going to win the game," Campbell told betsafe.com.
"Because if Arsenal can defend like they did against Chelsea away, where they really turned up, Arsenal stand a good chance. But if Arsenal defend like they did against Liverpool away, this could be over by half time."
City are off to a flying start this season as they are unbeaten in all competitions so far in this campaign. Wenger will be hoping his Arsenal can end the Citizens unbeaten record when they travel to the Etihad for the Premier League tie on Sunday.
