To access saved passwords, launch Chrome and go to Settings > Saved passwords. Before the update, getting saved password require users to sign into the Google passwords website, although saved passwords can still be accessible via passwords.google.com.

Once there are saved passwords, they can be accessed by clicking on associated websites. Clicking on it will trigger a confirmation popup for security purposes which has to be enabled on the device to get through the sensitive data. Google has added a protective measure by disabling the screenshot option when opening the links to addresses with saved passwords.

Meantime, Google has been speculated to integrate an SMS feature with Chrome OS for Android 8.1. The possibility becomes clearer after the search giant launched Pixelbook, a top-of-the-line variant of Chromebook, and the API named SM Connect that was discovered from the Android 8.1 Oreo Developer Preview 1.

As of this time, the SMS integration remains a mystery as Google has not confirmed anything yet.
