An XDA developer has just released a new custom ROM for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus owners based on the Galaxy Note 8 in Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Ambasadii is still in beta so issues might occur in fits and starts.
Some Ambasadii Note 8 custom ROM features include full Note 8 port (apps, framework, libs, etc.), Busybox, iOS emoji pack, Google Assistant support, 1060 fonts pack and AdAway app, among many others. You also have the option to include some add-ons such as Always On Display, Baby Crying detector, Edge features and Air Command, among many others.

Before proceeding with the installation, back up the phone's data, enable USB debugging and install recovery tool like TWRP or ClockworkMod. Make sure the device is rooted and is 50 per cent charged to avoid interruption.
How to install Ambasadii Full Note ROM for Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus
Follow the step-by-step guide on how you can get all of the Galaxy Note 8's custom features based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware:
Step 1: Download the Note 8 Port Galaxy S8 custom ROM here on your PC. Do not extra download file.
Step 2: Plug your phone to the PC, then copy the downloaded custom ROM to your phone's microSD card.
Step 3: Unplug your phone, then turn it off.
Step 4: Switch to recovery mode by press holding the power, volume up and Bixby buttons at the same time.
Step 5: Back up your current software version by going to Backup > backup and restore on ClockworkMod or TWRP recovery.
Step 6: Do wipe data tasks via Menu > Wipe > Format Data.
Step 7: Choose Install and locate the custom firmware to begin the flashing.
Step 8: If you want to include the add-ons, flash it.
Step 9: Reboot your phone.
Wait for your phone to switch back on for a few minutes. Your Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based Full Note ROM should be running your device.
