The official iOS 11 has finally arrived. As expected, Apple's mobile operating system is getting the most exciting upgrade it has ever received. Coming with tonnes of new features and system improvements, here are six of the coolest iOS 11 features that you might want to try right now:
Screen Recording
One of the best things that happened to iOS is the new Screen Recording feature. There are tonnes of third-party apps that enable users to record what is on screen. However, a stock feature saves you a good amount of memory.
To enable this feature, go to Settings > Control Centre > Customise Controls > More Controls. Find the Screen Recording toggle, then tap Include. The Screen Recording button should now be on your Control Centre.
Trim It, Loop, Bounce, Long Exposure
Live Photos comes with new features that will up your mobile photography game. With Trim It, Loop, Bounce and Long Exposure tools, you can now use desired functionality without ever needing a third-party app.
Trim It enables you to remove a certain part of a video or photo in Live Photos. Loop and Long Exposure do what their names suggest. Bounce gives that boomerang effect.
App Dock
App Dock allows you to display your favourite or most frequently used apps on a dock at the bottom of the screen for easy and direct access. However, this feature is only available to iPad.
Drag and drop
Another iPad exclusive, this feature lets you drag and drop photos, videos, documents and other files from one app to another. This works by press holding the file to drag and drop it between two opened interfaces side-by-side.
Control Centre
Control Centre went through the most drastic transformation. Its minimalistic design will make you want to look at it the whole day. And the best thing about it is that it allows you to fully customise it.
Do Not Disturb While Driving
Do Not Disturb While Driving is dubbed as the life-saving feature. Once enabled, it turns the screen into a dark interface. When SMS arrives, senders will receive an auto-reply message, which is customisable.
