Apple has added a new PayPal support to its payment methods. Apple users can now pay though PayPal on purchases from the App Store, iTunes, Apple Music, iBooks across iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. The PayPal support is currently available the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, Israel, the Netherlands, Spain, and Austria. It is expected to become available in more countries very soon.

PayPal chief operating officer and executive vice president Bill Ready said there has been an increasing demand so the online payment gateway is ensuring to meet the market's ever-changing needs. "This provides a secure and versatile payment method to meet the growing demand for digital entertainment," states Ready in a blog post.

Ready furthered that PayPal via Apple purchases is a huge leap in bringing a more convenient payment process. He said: "PayPal's availability across Apple's services further expands our vision of providing customers a variety of ways to easily make mobile purchases, such as asking Siri to make a payment using the PayPal app."

By signing a PayPal account into Apple's market platforms, users will be able to take advantage of this simplified payment system. PayPal will be added in the payment options for those customers who are using an Apple ID to pay their purchases can access the new payment method.

On the first purchase using the PayPal account, future purchases with a user's Apple ID will automatically be charged through it. Aside from iTunes, App Store, Apple Music, and iBooks, users can also pay via PayPal for iCloud storage payments, TV shows, and movie streaming.
