The ongoing series is the first-ever four-match T20I assignment between two Test-playing nations and both Pakistan and West Indies have a lot to play for in the decider after the hosts made light work of the former by seven wickets in the third match, after losing the first two, to keep their chances of sharing honours alive.

Pakistan were able to post only 137 on board after opting to bat first as leg-spinner Samuel Badree ran through the visitors' top-order early in the innings. In reply, West Indies opener Elvin Lewis starred with a 51-ball 91, much to the relief of the team management, who were worried about the poor form of their opening batsmen.
It seemed Carlos Brathwaite's men came into the match with a clear plan - hit Shadab Khan out of the attack - and it worked well as the young wrist-spinner, who rocked West Indies in the first two T20Is, conceded at 9.91 and only picked up a wicket in his last over.
It will be interesting to see how the teenager responds in a crunch match after being taken to the cleaners yesterday as his contribution with Imad Wasim on what will be a slow track at the Queen's Park Oval, which will be hosting its third consecutive match of the series today, will be crucial to the visitors' chances.
Pakistan's poor batting efforts, which had not hurt them in the first two T20Is, finally costed them yesterday after Shadab had a bad day. The visitors will defenitely not want to let go of an opportunity to win another series against the world champions after having taken a 2-0 lead.
